[Grammar] "since" or "when"?

which one is correct?

I started learning english since I was born. or
I starded learning english when I was born.
 
In my opinion, "since" is correct. As it is keep a long time.:lol:
 
I started learning English when I was born.
I have been learning English since I was born.

The answer is not correct, and the second sentences is meaningless.
