Sorry for the typo.
Can I also say "I apologise/apologize for the typo?"

BTW, the end-quote comes after the punctuation mark.

Your punctuation is correct in AE.

In BE, we write

Martin Luther King Jr said, "I have a dream".

Can I also say "I apologise for the typo"?
