a) a "grass removal machine" is a lawnmower.

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for with the rest. The actual sound of a telephone ringing is frequently written "ring ring" or "brring brring", but I don't think I can spell out the sounds of the rest. Perhaps that isn't your question!

Thank you for your kind reply. How about I put it in another way.

Would you correct the grammar of the following sentences?
  1. it is the ringing sound of a telephone.
  2. it is the flushing sound of a toilet.
  3. it is the sound of music .
  4. it is the drilling sound.
  5. it is the sound from the driller.
  6. it is the sound from the sewing machine.
  7. it is the sound of a bouncing ball.
  8. it is the sound of a vaccum cleaner.
  9. it is the sound of a lawnmower.
  10. it is the ticking sound of a clock.
  11. it is the sound of a popping toast from a toaster.
  12. it is the sound of boiling water.
  13. it is a snoring sound.
  14. it is the clapping sound.
  15. it is the sound of drinking with straw.
  16. it is the sound of blowing the nose.
  17. it is the shaving sound.

You can mow the grass by an electric or fuel-powered lawnmower.
Sounds are quite different. I like to spend time playing with children.:-D

Ju, all of these would sound more natural to me as "This is the sound of..."

This is the sound of a telephone ringing. This is the sound of someone clapping. This is the sound of a clock ticking.

# 4, it is not a "driller" but a "drill"
drill is both a noun and a verb.
