Hi,
can somone please tell me difference between "i speak to my parents over the phone" or "i speak with my parents" and which one is common.

Can someone please tell me difference between "I speak to my parents over the phone" and "I speak with my parents" and which one is common?
Always capitalise 'I' and the first word of every sentence.

'Speak to' is more common in BrE and 'speak with' in AmE.

There's no difference in meaning here.

In AmE, "speak to" often refers to a one-way conversation and "speak with" often refers to a two-way conversation, but there is a lot of overlap.
