I'm writing a script.
Context: Brett comes home to see that someone has broken into his house. He checks the house to see if anything's missing, but it doesn't seem so. After that --
Bedroom.
Brett sits down on his bed. Thinks.
What did the intruder want? Why didn't he take anything?
Living room.
Brett comes down the stairs. Still pondering the intruder's motive.
Is 'pondering' a good choice here and is it used correctly in the sentence? I don't need to add 'about' or something?
