Please correct my sentence.

I will sweep and mop the first floor on this Friday.
I will broom and mop the first floor on this Friday.

Please correct my sentence.

I will sweep and mop the first floor [STRIKE]on[/STRIKE] this Friday. :tick:
I will broom and mop the first floor [STRIKE]on[/STRIKE] this Friday. I have never heard "broom" used as a verb, but dictionaries list it as also being a verb.

I think "broom" as a verb is British; I've never heard it either, but I've seen it written that way across the pond.

I've not come across it as a verb- Onelook.com gives it as a verb, but it must be pretty archaic.
