Couldn't you just say together instead of together at the same time? It wouldn't be easy to take them together at different times- it doesn't add much IMO.

First, there should not be a comma after "one". Second the sentence is very wordy. I would simplify the sentence as: "A good teacher is one who moves ahead taking along all the students, so that no needy student is left behind."
