Hi

Is the phrase "teach on something" correct? I usually hear or see only "teach" without "on"?

For example: Several instructors across India and in numerous countries teach on posture (asana).

You should say teach about something/teach something.

It seems unnecessary to me.

You should say teach about something/teach something.
There is no 'should' here.

If I teach you English, I enable you to use the language more proficiently; if I teach you about English, you receive from me information about the language that may well not help you to use it.

Does it mean it should say "teach posture" instead of "teach about posture"? I would just say "teach posture".
