Hello, I would like to ask - What is the difference between:
Thank you for posting this or that?

I am talking about situation when you see a post for example on Facebook and you want to thank.
What is the meaning of saying : Thank you for posting this
and Thank you for posting that

Thanks.

I see no difference in that context.

If you post something that uses the first post as its subject, you use that: "That is a thoughtful post."

Time might be a factor- the older the post, the more likely it is that I would use that. In a recent post, I see no difference.

Much of the time, you'll see simply "Thanks for posting."
