From the first glance, it is apparent that the highest development took place in 2010. During this year, the
popoularity of IBM reached a peak while Apple company was the least one.
To begin with, IBM had been the least popular company during the two years, between 1980 and 1985. However, its rate had risen gradually from 10% to 31% by 2000. Likewise, it developed sharply by 30%, from 31% to 61% in a decade.
In the meantime, Microsoft has always been the second popular company throughout this time. Beginning with around 8% and had been at about 15% by 2000. However, in 10 years time its rate of popularity reached to approximately 43%.
Moving further, the next company namely Apple, had flactuated respectively, beginning with 15% and had been at 18% in 2000. Lastly, the percentage of Apple increased by only 6% in 10 years.
In a nutshell, it's crystal clear that the proportion of IBM doubled in 10 years.
