Two questions really.

Firstly, is the following a relative clause or apposition...
'The chef's specialty is mushroom soup, a dish which he is famous for'

Secondly, why is there no object in this sentence. Is this a true relative clause...
'London is where I want to live'

Thanks!
Jason

The first question is an either/or question, but I don't have to choose. The phrase "a dish which he is famous for" modifies "mushroom soup". Is it a relative clause? I don't think so, but you're the English teacher.

As for the second sentence, it's a sentence, not a clause. As for why it has no object I would say it doesn't need one
