i need an american or british opinion… is it correct to say The End Times or The End of Times to represent the end of the world(apocalypse)? thx

Both are correct and commonly used according to Wikipedia.

wikipedia.org/wiki/end_time.

Regular readers will know I am no fan of Wikipedia but in this case they are right.

It's The End Times.

I can't see where Wikipedia mentions The End of Times.

Sorry if there was a typo in my response. I was unable to cut and paste it, so typed it by hand. I found it simply by googling "Wikipedia end times".

I need an American or British opinion. Is it correct to say "The End Times" or "The End of Times" to represent the end of the world space here (apocalypse)? thx Thanks.

Remember to start every sentence with a capital letter. Always capitalise the word "I" and all proper nouns. Put a space before an opening bracket. Always use full words on the forum. "Thx" isn't a word.

im not here to write formally and grammatically correct i write as i want n didn't ask to be corrected

I'm not here to write formally and grammatically correct. I write as I want and I didn't ask to be corrected.

It's irrelevant that you didn't ask us to correct your post. That's just what we do here. Please remember that other learners will read this thread and we need to make sure that they see correct English, in order to help them learn. In the process of answering users' questions, we correct errors. It's something you will get used to with time.

im not here to write formally and grammatically correct.

Nevertheless, as a native English-speaker, and knowing now how the forum works, you might consider at least trying to write grammatically as a courtesy to those whose help you are seeking.

If I was still a moderator I would delete that. It's full of errors (apparently on purpose), and it's overly confrontational.

@Tarheel - For information, it was previously deleted by another moderator. I undeleted it specifically in order to show the multiple corrections that were required, and to explain to the writer why it's so important for us all to use correct English on the forum. It can certainly be taken as confrontational but I hope that the writer will take a more conciliatory tone now that he/she knows why we make corrections.
