The food is saving in fridge a long time ago. It can not be eaten.

The sentence from my written are correct?
If not, please correct me.

I would say:
"The food was placed in the fridge a long time ago..." or "the food has been in the fridge for too long..."

Please see my corrections above.

I would use "The food has been in the fridge for a long time. Don't eat it/It's inedible". A better idea would be to throw the food away so no one is tempted to eat it! Of course, there are lots of foodstuffs which can remain in the fridge for a long time and still be edible.

Your correction is perfect.
But, is my first written on #1 not correct English?

At least the tense is incorrect, because the present continuous does not agree with 'a long time ago'.
You may consult a dictionary to see the correct usage of 'save'.

Not a teacher.

Not correct tense. Use weaver and emsr's examples.

You do not 'save' food in the fridge.
You keep/store/place/leave food in the fridge.

'Put' should also be understandable.

Not a teacher.

"Putting" food in the fridge does not mean the same as "keeping/saving/leaving" food in the fridge.

I meant 'put' could be used in the OP's context. Was I wrong?

Not a teacher.

Can you write the exact sentence you are suggesting, Matthew Wai?

'The food was put in the fridge long ago, so it is inedible.'

Not a teacher.

That's OK. I would probably use "a long time ago" rather than "long ago".
