Hello,

I want to suggest that people can use the Internet to learn new languages. Can I use "language acquisition" in that context? What do you think about this sentence?

I think the Internet is one of the most useful tools in the process of language acquisition.

How can I make it better?

It's okay, but kind of wordy. You don't really need to state that it's a process, although your version isn't wrong.

I wouldn't use the term language acquisition. To me, it's strongly associated with infants learning to speak their first language. Why not use simple, recognizable words and say for learning languages?

Don't capitalize "internet". It became a common noun many years ago.

If the OP (or anyone else) is interested in the history of capitalisation/non-capitalisation of the word "internet", have a look HERE.

It's particularly pleasing that the all-caps INTERNET was buried a long time ago.

And sonar, laser, scuba, and radar. And ASAP should become asap ASAP.

Wait, what? We don't call it the Information Superhighway any more?!

Pardon me while I wax my board and do a little web surfing.
