Supposed that Hamilton has published an article in Perspective section of Nature magazine, is the use of the word perspective in the following sentence correct in English?

Himilton says in his Nature perspective that this new technology is good for public.

BTW, I also wonder whether I've used "public" correctly. By "public" I mean "the public" or "the people."

When you mean "the public", that's what you should write. :)

The name of the section is a proper noun. You capitalized it correctly once; it has to be capitalized each time you use it.
