What troubles me is "the view of those behind you". It seems to me that according to this text those behind are viewed.
Can "the view for those behind you" be correct?
 
The original is correct. "Of" is used possessively here, and doesn't mean that "those" is the object of "view". (I hope I've worded that clearly.)

You could also say "You're blocking the view for people behind you".
 
Yes, you could also use for there instead.
