Can I say:
The views are amazing.
The view is amazing.

I mean the whole area I can see.
They live in the countryside. They've got a cottage near the lake. I think we should go there. The view is amazing.
 
It depends on whether you see it as a single view or a variety- both are possible.
 
What about:
There's an amazing view.
 
What about:
There's an amazing view.
I would normally use this:
1. with a heavily stressed 'there', while I was indicating the view,
2. if I followed it with some such expression as "just over that next rise".
