Hello! Question to the teachers. Just yesterday I found out about the word parsimonious. The dictionary I use has explained this word as characterized by or showing parsimony; frugal, stingy. I know that frugal means that you avoid excessive money spending and has quite positive meaning, where stingy means that you may have loads of money but you just don't spend it without any reasons. My question is does parsimony carry a positive meaning like frugal does or negative as stingy. Thank you in advance for your answer.

I mostly hear it used in a negative way.
