Hi,

Is ''The world survives on hope'' correct?

If you mean grammatically correct, it would be if you added a period to the end of the sentence.

Whether it's true or not, I can't answer.

What about ''Life sustains on hope''?

Again, you forgot your period.

With punctuation, it would also be grammatically correct.

Those are interesting sentences, Untaught. Did you compose them?

@Skrej, How can I add a full-stop? I think it's wrong to put a full-stop there. And yes, when I write it alone, I'll do that then.

@Tarheel, I tried to translate it. It is used in my language. Do they make sense? What do they mean?

"The world survives on hope" means that we need hope just to keep trying.

Eh?

Untaught88, you are right. Putting a full stop at the end of your sentence when it is followed by quotation marks and a question mark would be incorrect.

The world survives on hope.
Is "The world survives on hope" correct?
I would like to say "The world survives on hope".
