'Though I've got to tell A.J. to change the lunch menu. No one in Littleworth wants to eat candied beetroot and broad bean salad and corn cake. This isn't p*ssing Fitzrovia.

(The Midnight Library by Matt Haig, episode The three Horseshoes)

I take "p*ssing" to be an adjective there and its meaning to be like "f*cking". Do I have this right or is there a difference?

Yes, that's exactly what it means.

In future, please remember to disguise swear (curse) words using asterisks. I have edited post #1 for you.
