People in this forum often say ''This sentence sounds natural/unnatural''. I'm not sure
I understand what ''natural/unnatural'' means in those statements.

If we say something is unnatural, it means that it's grammatical but it's not something a native speaker would ever say.

You obviously didn't realise that teechar gave an accurate and useful answer, which was not intended at all to be a wisecrack.
