[Grammar] Tim and Kevin were sitting in the living room

Are the following sentences grammatically correct?

Tim and Kevin were sitting in the living room. After a few minutes of talk, Tim made an offer to his friend.

-Do you want to watch the ice hockey match? USA versus Norway? I will bring beer and nachos.

After Kevin nodded and smiled, Tim quickly headed for the kitchen. From his pocket he took out the hallucinogenic pills, which he smashed and grinded. Then he took out a glass in which he mixed the beer with the grinded pills, making sure that the mixture was imperceptible to the eyes. After opening the bag of nachos and emptying it on a plate, he walked to the living room.

"Grinded" is not the correct word for either the past participle or adjectival form of "grind". (Well, "grinded" is a rare past tense form but I don't recommend using it.)
