[Grammar] to manage

- We were lucky to get tickets for the concert as we've been told it was booked up but we managed get the last two...

Now, the question is: why isn't "manage" followed by to before get?
Is it a grammar mistake or is it possible to use the verb "manage" without to?

Es. I managed to bring her purse back.
 
It's probably a misprint.
