Hello,
Will the word 'heart' get the plural form if the subject is plural? Does it always happen so in such idiomatic phrases?
E.g. 'They drank to their hearts' content' or 'They drank to their heart's content'? (The latter sounds rather strange to my ear)
Thanks a million!

Actually they both sound exactly the same, but 'They drank to their hearts' content' is how you should write it.

Thank you, dear Rover_KE. And you are definitely right about the way it sounds. Naturally I meant the spelling problem. Thanks again. Could you please help me in some more cases: https://www.usingenglish.com/forum/threads/221545-(a)-half-an-hour-s-chat?p=1144305#post1144305

I'll be most grateful to you for your help as nobody else is going to answer these awfully disturbing me questions!!!
