Is the usage of 'to thwart' correct in 'he thwarted her sentiments'.
Is the usage of 'to thwart' correct in 'he thwarted her sentiments'.
It wouldn't.But If I say: 'He thwarted her carnal aspirations by turning down her lascivious sentiments,' it would be perfectly ok.
