'Travel', uncountable, means 'travelling in general'.
'Journey', countable' is one specific act of travelling.
We have similar differences between work and job, poetry and poem, accommodation and apartment/flat/house/etc, news and piece of news/news item

Of course I know 'our travel' is wrong but I don't know why. [STRIKE]???[/STRIKE]) It's not a question and we don't use question marks in threes anyway.

(

[STRIKE]Thanks in advance._I am learning English now.)[/STRIKE]Unnecessary.
