Hi.

Are you familiar with these two sayings? Are they natural? They're from some Chinese-English webistes. I wrote them down many years ago.

1) Better poor with honor than rich with shame.
2) When and old dog bark one must look out.


I think they're Chinese translations and don't work in English. I can't find any sources about the

I think they're Chinese translations and don't work in English. I can't find any sources about them.

The meanings of the sayings are obvious enough to be understood. I don't think there are exact equivalents in English.
