I wonder if it's ok to use "used to" in the sentences below:
1.There was a lot of snow last year, so I used to go skiing
2. I used to go skiing last year
The writer wanted to say the action happened many times within the specified period and doesn't happen any more, but still the sentences sound strange to me. Could anyone comment on them, please?
