Polyester, please bookmark the dictionary tz linked to for future reference.

You need to let them know in advance.

I think he already has good dictionaries, but I am not a teacher.
Do you know for a fact that Polyester is a male?
Otherwise, aren't you being presumptive here? ;-)

Polyester has a girlfriend, so I presume that 'he' is the correct pronoun, but I am not a teacher.

Thank your for help, everyone here.
I want to tell you. I do always check the dictionaries when I don't know the words meaning.
But, the result is I know the words meaning after checking or consulting the dictionaries.
I can't get it in full sentences from beginning to the end of full stop.
For example, my post here #1. I know the word "prior" meaning. However, when I try to put it together in full sentence, Im sorry, I don't know what does the sentence mean.

***Importance, I have checked the word in many dictionaries before posting here. It will save a lot of time. I want to know the full sentence meaning. It doesn't a word mean.

Thank you all of here for help.

'Vegetarian meals are provided when an agreement has been made before.'
Is it OK?

Not a teacher.

I think it is not so much 'prior agreement' as 'prior notice', but I am not a teacher.

Does it mean "the people who told the restaurant I have made a order for vegetable meals"?

No, Polyester. That doesn't make sense and is ungrammatical.

Your original question was answered long ago. See post #4.

Now you're making an extra assumption - not that there's anything wrong with that.

Rover_KE,
Which parts is not making sense? Could you point out my error?

I knew the answer in post #4. However, I need to use my own language to express my view.

I hope the following makes sense, but I am not a teacher.
'Vegetarian meals are provided to those who have told the restaurant in advance.'

Now you're making an extra assumption - not that there's anything wrong with that.
What's wrong with the assumption that a person who has a girlfriend is a male?

The Google American English Corpus has ... just 46 for 'by prior consent'.
What I wrote is 'prior notice' instead of 'prior consent'.

"What's wrong with the assumption that a person who has a girlfriend is a male?"

Nothing. Did you not read the second half of my sentence?

'Not that there's anything wrong with that' = 'What I mean is not that ...'
Is it correct?

I need to use my own language to express my view.
Regrettably, you can't do that on an English forum.

If you have no objection, Polyester, to satisfy our curiosity, please tell us whether you are male or female.

Your original sentence, Vegetarian meals are provided by prior agreement, is a notice issued by a restaurant.

It means that the restaurant will prepare vegetarian dishes if you ask for them in advance.

Does it mean "the people who told the restaurant I have made a order for vegetable meals"?

No. It means nothing like that.

Rover_KE,
Which parts [STRIKE]is not making[/STRIKE] do not make sense? Could you point out my errors?
'The' should be capitalised. Who are 'the people'? There is no main verb. It should be 'an order' and 'vegetarian meals'.
