Which 'a' position is corect?
1. He is a very good man;
2. He is very a good man;
3. Both.

It means they are mistaken with the very.The Polish edition of 'Matura Solution Pre-Intermediate' by Tim Falla,Paul A. Davies, Oxford University Press, ISBN 978 019 455007 9 says on page 11:
The modifying adverb quite/very goes before a/an when there is a noun. For example: This is quite/very a good song.'
Does it mean they are undereducated?
