Wandering around or about?

Hi,

I'm just wondering which phrasal verb is correct:

1. Wandering around
2. Wandering about

Thanks in advance.
 
As MikeNewYork said, they're both used. Be careful when using "wandering about" - many people get very confused between "wonder" and "wander" and of course "I'm wondering about the offer you made me yesterday" is perfectly correct. Even native speakers sometimes write "I'm wandering about the offer you made me yesterday" which is, of course, wrong.
 
:up: He was wandering around the campus wondering about his future.

'Wandering about' is possible but not nearly as common as 'wandering around'
'Wondering around' is very odd. If I said it was just wrong some smart-a$$ would be bound to come up with an unlikely artificial context. ;-)
