Which of the following sentences is grammatical?

1- In Football, watching goals being saved is much more satisfying than watching goals being scored.

2- In Football, watching goals saved is much more satisfying than watching goals scored.

Some comments:
- Neither one makes sense.
- There is no need to capitalize "football".

In both sentences you are comparing identical phrases. However, if you are strictly talking about grammar I would prefer the first one. In any case, a thing can be neither better nor worse than itself.

Edit: I agree with teechar that football should not be capitalized.

If you mean 'In football, watching shots being saved is much more satisfying than watching goals being scored', it depends which team you're supporting.

I actually meant the same thing. My first post has a typo. I have corrected that. Can you please tell me now which one is correct. From your answer I understand the first one is correct.

Well, now posts two and three are mostly nonsense. As for which is grammatical, I agree that it's the first one.

My first post [STRIKE]has[/STRIKE] had [STRIKE]a typo[/STRIKE] two typos. I have corrected [STRIKE]that[/STRIKE] them.

In future, please don't go back and edit post #1 after the post has any responses. As Tarheel said, now the first couple of responses look nonsensical. Only edit post #1 if you are specifically asked to do so.
