My 10-year old kid addicted to watching this Testament of Sherlock Holmes PC Walkthrough on YouTube. He claims that he can learn a native British accent from the video with subtitles.

Do you think it is good to watch this Youtbue in learning good English (British accents on this YouTube?)?

I watched the first few minutes. Not all the accents are convincing - the boy sitting in the street, for instance. It's unlikely to do any harm and it may help. Record him speaking and see whether there's much of a change when he's got through the whole thing.

Dear Tdol, thanks very much. By saying not all accents there are convincing, doesn't it mean not all accents are native there? Or other reason? Cheers.

He means some of the actors are speaking in an accent that is not their own native accent. Like a Scotsman trying to sound English. And it is noticeable that they are trying to use a non-native accent.
