Hello!

I’d like to know which sentences is (more) correct. Here is the context: some people are waiting in a room for a friend. As soon as he comes in, one of them say:

1. Come in, we’ve been waiting for you!
2. Come in, we was waiting for you!

Thanks a lot!
 
1 is more correct, but the punctuation could be improved.

'Come in. We've been waiting for you.'
 
1 is correct. 2 is incorrect because of the word after "We". What should it have been?
