We are having to clean up her mess.

I would like to know if it is possible to use "Having" in the examples below...


  1. "I am having to take him to school every day."
  2. "Thank you for having spoken to her."
  3. "Thank you for having arrived early."
  4. "We are having to clean up her mess."
 
Yes, but with "have to (do something obligatory), I think the simple present tense is more natural.
 
I would like to know if it is possible to use "having" in the examples below.


  1. "I am having to take him to school every day." I have to take him to school every day.
  2. "Thank you for having spoken to her." Thank you for speaking to her.
  3. "Thank you for having arrived early." Thank you for arriving early.
  4. "We are having to clean up her mess."

They're all possible but I have put the more natural version next to sentence 1 to 3 in blue. With sentence 4, "We are having to ..." would work as long as it's said very shortly after the mess was created.
