I know that it is natural to say 'She wears her hair long/short/in a ponytail/in pigtails, etc.' But is it also natural to say 'She wears long/short hair' or 'She wears a ponytail/pigtails, etc'? Thank you. Please pardon me if my question is naive.

She has long/short hair.
She has a ponytail. (Note that this can only refer to the hairstyle chosen at the time of speaking or writing, whereas "She wears her hair in ponytails/pigtails suggests that she frequently chooses this hairstyle.)
