I've been translating my novel to English and from time to time I put some parts of it on to writing forums. Today, someone told me that he got the impression that I used translation programs for it. I said it's nonsense, even I translated two paragraphs with google translation tool and posted that absurd translation to the forum. But again another person told me that my grammar (my own translation, of course -- not google trans.) is very bad etc. etc.
And as a "P.S." she said "Machine translation made my week-end."

It would seem that your posting of the translation made by a machine (Google translator) amused her enough that she said it "made her weekend."
