Hi,

I've red wend in irregular words.
before i didn't see this word.
explain me.

wend went went
It's old english word which change into go now?

very thankful

Mahmona

The thing is that wend and went have nothing in common (in this context). "went" is the past form and past participle form of the infinitve "go". The past form and past participle form of "wend" is "wended". That`s why you have it in red. "Go" is an irregular verb while "wend" is a regular one.

Hi Mahmona,

Yes, it is. But if you click on the verb, you will find the explanation in the box, after "notes": it says "went" is an archaic form as a past and past participle for "wend ".
