Please write this sentence in simple words, I can't understand and dont know what does it mean?

1- went from being "it's complicated" to "married."

Presumably the relationship went from one which was complicated (perhaps one of them was married to another person at the time) to the straightforward one of being married.

It would have been helpful if you had given more context.
