May I know what do you usually say when you walk out of a shop without buying anything?

I mean if there is no contact with any sales assistant I would walk out quietly, but if the sales assistant helped you/chatted with you while you are looking at products, and in the end you decided not to buy (Maybe you did not want to buy without any reason or you are still going to look at other shops), do you put the product down and walk off quietly? or how do you say something suitable then walk off?

Thanks

If the salesperson is still paying attention to you, you can say "Thank you" and walk out. If you feel that's not enough, you can say "I need to think about it. Thanks", "I'll consider it." Leave it open. You don't need to say "I don't want it" or"I'm not going to buy it".
What do you say?

I sometimes say with a smile 'Hard luck! I'm leaving empty-handed today.'
