Hi,
A friend of mine wrote this a while back and I think it's good advice.

If you want my opinion, I find movies somewhat difficult to understand, generally speaking, and not very useful (they often talk too quietly and too little, fast, etc.). I think television series might be easier. Lots of dialogs, lots of different situations, etc. And try to understand without subtitles, if you can. The series "Modern Family" is particularly good. But, go to Youtube and watch some clips and trailers, than chose the movie or TV series you think you might understand best.

Best of luck,
John

Sometimes I need subtitles for Gloria on Modern Family!
