VIII. Conclusions

The exposure estimates that were generated are conservative estimates of the actual dietary
exposures that might occur. Even though such conservative assumptions were used, the dietary
risk estimates are below HED’s level of concern for all population subgroups for the acute,
chronic, and cancer scenarios except when high-end modeled drinking water residues were
included. Risk estimates from food alone, including a range of potential residues in orange juice,
were not of concern.

There are different models of how much of this contaminate are in drinking water. Surely it depends on exactly where a person lives what their actual water is like.

So if you take some of the models and use the higher numbers, you have some numbers above the "level of concern."

Thank you.
(The high-end modeled) drinking water was used in making the orange juice?

What orange juice? This is about scientific models of how much of a contaminate is in drinking water.

You probably mean a contaminant, right?

I see nothing there about water being used in orange juice.

Have you downloaded the report titled Risk Assessment for Safety of Orange Juice Containing Fungicide Carbendazim which contains the entire context?

The file is quite big (1.23M) and seems inconvenient to upload to this forum.

Well, It's not for me then. I am afraid I don't have the time or inclination to read long reports to find out if they talk about water being used in orange juice.

Anyone interested can search "high-end modeled" in the report and just read a few relevant content to make an impression about the question put forth by the thread.

Alternatively, as it is you asking people to give some time to help you, you could copy and paste a relevant paragraph or two here.
