Hello,

What is this "v-shaped" called in clothes called?

SPDW-WD1203_V1.jpg

Some skirts have it. Some dresses and pants have it too. I know "cut" probably works, but I'm looking for a more specific term, if there is any.

Which one is better?

1. She was wearing a skirt with a side slit.

2. She was wearing a side slit skirt.

Hello.

What is this "v-shaped" cut [STRIKE]called[/STRIKE] in clothes called?

Some skirts, [STRIKE]have it. Some[/STRIKE] dresses and pants have it too. I know "cut" probably works, but I'm looking for a more specific term, if there is [STRIKE]any[/STRIKE] one.

Which one is better?

1. She was wearing a [STRIKE]skirt[/STRIKE] dress with a side slit. :tick:

2. She was wearing a side slit skirt. :cross:

Note my corrections above. I assume you were using your example sentences to talk about the photo in post #1. If that's the case, she's wearing a dress, not a skirt.
