I don't know what these types of sentences structures are called but I'd like to know if perhaps any of them sound odd or may be grammatically incorrect.
1.What I hate is when he told her he loved her but he didn't.
2.What I hate was when he told her he loved her but he didn't.
3.What they did is, they stopped the car for speeding.
4.What they did was, they stopped the car from speeding.
