I know that four-year college students are called freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Now, what are two-year college students called, freshmen and sophmores, or juniors and seniors?
How about three-year highschool students?

I don't know about junior colleges. But a 3 year high school would not differ from a 4 year one. 10th graders would be sophomores.

Sorry, SD, but you'll have to accept that many members may be as ignorant as I.

How does '10th grader' fit into a 'junior college' and a '3 year high school' system?

I was speaking of high schools. They are for the 9th through 12th grades, typically. A "middle school" is for grades 6-8.

Some schools systems separate the classes differently and have a junior high for 7-9 and a senior high for 10-12.

In either system a 10th grader is a sophomore, 11th a junior, and 12th a senior.

Thank you. How old is a 10th grader?

15-16 years old.

My older daughter is 15 and will be a 10th grader or sophomore next year. She will turn 16 about halfway through her year, so she will be 18 when she finishes her senior year/12 grade.
