When I say: I have an AC in my bedroom, the abbreviation of AC is:

1-air conditioner
or
2-air conditioning
or
3-air conditioned
or
4-air condition

to mean the name of the machine itself.
What is the correct use and why?

1-air conditioner :tick:

And 2. air conditioning.

A room can be air conditioned (3), but it cannot have air conditioned.

Air condition (4) would mean the state of the air, rather than the device that brings the air to a satisfactory state.

And 2. air conditioning.
The OP asks, "When I say: I have an AC in my bedroom, the abbreviation of AC is:..."

2. I have an air conditioning in my room :cross:

Option 2 doesn't work, at least not in my dialect.

The presence of the indefinite article an requires that the following word be a noun. Only choice 1 air conditioner fulfills that requirement.

Nor in mine:oops:. Sorry, Amal; I was concentrating on the AC and missed the an.

What about the followings?;

A room with air conditioner, or,
A room with air conditioning.

And should we put a hypen?

They both work, I've heard both frequently. I think a hyphen is optional.

A room with an air conditioner

An air conditioned room

A room with air conditioning

All the above are idiomatically correct.

We usually don't use a hyphen, but it may be necessary in some circumstances:

He was used to air-conditioned air.

A room with an air conditioner.

As bhaisahab said, a room with air conditioner works, just as we can say a room with shower and toilet.

In hotel language, a/an appears to be optional.

Thank you very much.

?? This is now the second page of answers.

Can you be more specific about which question remains unanswered?

Oh sorry, I misunderstood a reply here.
Thank you, there is no question remains unanswered.

Do you mean the hotel language is informal at least to learn to do English test with very strict grammars ?
I think "a" or "an" added or not can make some difference.(and both cases are also formal) I think "the room with air conditioner" means "the room can have 1, 2 or more air conditioners", but "the room with an air conditioner" means it has only 1 air conditioner. Could you please give me some comments ? Am I wrong and why ?
Thank you so much !
