I'm talking about playing cards.

A. If both cards match, .....
B. If both card match, .....

The if conditions above are not complete, but I'm only interested which word is correct "cards" or "card" in the context above.

Instead of telling you the only correct answer, I'll ask you to look up "both" in a reputable online dictionary website, and try to work it out for yourself. :)
