Sorry — we don't help with homework.

Hi, this is not a homework, I am writing a report explaining that the plant operators did not add this task on their check list which could result in disaster at this chemical production site..... So, I was not sure how to mention it properly, thought above mentioned sentences and needed advice.
Thanks

fill or fill up ....> to fill a tank with water or to fill the tank up with water ?

fill or fill up ....> to fill a tank with water or to fill the tank up with water ?
Hello, atiq124.
I'd use 'fill up the tank with water'.
(I think 'fill a tank with water' is also fine.)
:)

(Edit 1) 'needs filling...' sounds a bit odd to me. I'd go for #4, #5 or #6. (I'm not sure which one is the most natural.)

(Edit 2) 'needs filling...' is fine: http://fraze.it/n_search.jsp?q=needs+filling&ff=&ffp=0&ffo=false&cpradius=1&l=0&t=0&sugg=off
That means all of your options are possible. I'm sorry.
