Which of the following statement is correct? I often have a hard time with prepositions.

I have two laptops, one I carry in office while the other remains at home.
or
I have two laptops, one I carry to office while the other remains at home.

'Carry something to somewhere' should be correct.

Not a teacher.

I have two laptops, one which I carry to the office while the other remains at home.

I have two laptops, one which I carry around the office while the other remains at home.

I have two laptops, one which I keep in the office while the other remains at home.

Each have a slightly different meaning using different prepositions.

In AmE, both sentences need "the" before "office".

And in BrE.

Is 'I carry my laptop in my hand to the office' possible?

"In my hand" is not needed.

Is it possible to add the determiner “my” before the word “office” to make it more specific?

I think so, not a teacher.

In that context, I wouldn't use "carry" at all.

I have two laptops - one I take to work/to the office and the other I leave at home.

I prefer the use of two first person singular verb forms (I take, I leave) to a first person and a third person (I take, remains).
