[Grammar] Which sentence is correct?

The film was so good that ------------------
A) we are going to the cinema today
B) it is sometimes good to watch it
C) the spectators have seen it twice
D) it had been watched by millions
E) we were still under its influence two hours later

Which one do you think is the correct answer?
 
Yikes! I don't like any of them!

I do see one grammatical answer, though.
 
I fear we might once again disagree on what we think the point of an exercise like this is. I don't think it's to choose what is 'correct' in the sense of being grammatical, or even coherent as a stand-alone sentence.

As someone who routinely works with and creates questions like this, it is pretty evident to me which one of those answers the test writer considers to be the answer. The validity of the question itself is a different matter entirely.
